ScreenTekTM frames have 4 inches of available adjustment. By choosing an expandable frame you realize huge saving in screen fabric over the life of the frame. Expandable frames start with a fabric square that increases in size along with the frame. With roller type retensionable frames, useless mesh has to be wrapped around the frame tubes during tensioning, resulting in wasted fabric.

* ScreenTekTM uses Reference I.D. as standard since these are the measurements you
would use to select frame size after adding side and squeegee clearances to the
artwork. Reference I.D. represents an average working size and was determined by
stretching a Saati 180 monofilament fabric to 25N/cm. This particular mesh count
was chosen because it is in the mid range of commonly used printing fabrics. Coarser or finer mesh will yield different results.
Maximum recommended O.D. is included to ensure that the fully expanded frame does
not exceed the space constraints of your equipment. To find maximum recommended O.D.,
add 7 inches to the I.D. of the fully closed frame.
